Leslie Bricusse signs to Shapiro Bernstein
Shapiro Bernstein & Co. have just signed composer, lyricist and playwright, Leslie Bricusse and Stage & Screen Music. A multiple Academy and Grammy award winner, Leslie was also honored as a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Highlights of the catalogue include the songs from the Broadway hits “Jekyll & Hyde” “Scrooge” and “Victor/Victoria”. Still an active writer, Leslie has numerous shows in progress.
Arlon Songs Number One with Emeli Sandé!
Arlon Songs celebrates having two songs on Emeli Sandé debut album "Our Version Of Events" which entered the UK charts at Number One this week (13 Feb 2012). Arlon Songs writer/producer Grant Mitchell cowrote with Emeli on both her second single Daddy, Featuring Naughty Boy, which reached No. 21 in the UK singles charts, and the album track Clown - and is delighted to be part of this outstanding record. Sandé won Critics Choice at the 2012 Brit Awards and was also nominated for the British Breakthrough Act Award. Grant Mitchell has worked with many artists and writers including: Simon Climie, Trevor Horn, Diane Warren, Lamont Dozier, Eric Clapton, Wet Wet Wet, Joan Armatrading, KD Lang, Gary Barlow, Elton John and most recently on Marti Pellow's Top 5 indie album Love To Love and Emeli Sandé.

MARTI PELLOW to star in BLOOD BROTHERS
Marti is to make his hugely-anticipated return to the London stage joining Willy Russell’s smash hit musical, one of the longest running shows in history. From TUESDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2011, Marti will join the West End cast of BLOOD BROTHERS as The Narrator at the Phoenix Theatre, until SATURDAY 3 MARCH 2012.
After releasing LOVE TO LOVE, one of the most successful independent records of 2011, and coming off the back of starring for 8 months in the hit tour of Jekyll & Hyde, Marti is very excited to get back into the West End with this brilliantly written play with outstanding songs.

Talented, versatile and angelic: Cozi Costi is a hit songwriter and vocalist behind a string of pop and dance crossover tracks, including co-writing and featuring on David Guetta’s “Baby When the Lights”, Based in London, Cozi has had cuts not only with David Guetta, but also top artists like Kylie Minogue, Holly Valance, and new Danish artist Nabiha. Her single, “The Enemy” for Nabiha was nominated as Urban Release of the Year at the Danish Deejay Awards. As an artist, Cozi has been the featured vocalist on singles for DJ/producers including Junior Caldera, Jerry Ropero, Alex Sayz, Eric Morillo and Noferino. Our first releases will be “Lesson In Love” by Junior Caldera featuring Cozi (Universal France) and “Takes My Breath Away” by Richard Grey & Cozi (Strictly Rhythm).

Carnaby Street celebrates its 50th anniversary with a year long exhibition celebrating the 1960's, the decade when Carnaby Street was the epicentre of world fashion, music and youth culture. Using the music of Caryl Brahms and Ned Sherrin, two of London's most ground-breaking writers and satirists, a specially commissioned film documenting the era is being screened throughout 2010 at the exhibition space on 38 Carnaby Street.

Joe Cocker’s “Hymn For My Soul” enters German charts at No.3
Joe Cocker's 22nd album, produced by Ethan Johns, features the titular track "Hymn For My Soul" written by Arlon Song's Andy Fairweather Low. The album entered the German Charts at No. 3 and the UK charts at No. 9, also making top 10 positions in Austria and Switzerland. The album is being released in the US and Australia later in 2008.
